Location

Situated amidst natural woods, on a hillside (nearly 400m. above s.l.), looking over a stunning view of the valley below.Just 10 kms. north of Arezzo, and yet in the heart of an unspoiled nature, allowing one to feel away from civilization. The most famous part of Tuscany is the "Golden Triangle" of Florence (Firenze), Siena and Arezzo and among them "Chianti".

Arezzo has a very successful combination of old and new. And old part (mainly from the 13th and 14th Century) surrounded by medieval walls with one of the most beautiful squares in Italy, and a modern lively part with nice shops & restaurants, charming boulevards and parks, an open market every Saturday and the biggest antique fair in Tuscany.

It is very convenient to get to Pianalli or to have a one-day trip to the Highlights of Tuscany and Umbria, as the driving time to the following places would be:

Rome A/P - 2.5 hrs.
Florence - ¾ hr.
Siena - 1 hr.
Perugia - 1 hr.
Assisi - 1 ¼ hr.
Lake Trasimeno - ¾ hr.

In order to get to the house, there is a private, very good access road (strada bianca) of 600m, which starts with a pictorial bridge over the local river and passes through the woods. 2.5 kms. from Pianelli there is a commercial center with a supemarket.
